Be an Egg or a Potato

There’s this quote kinda thing I’d like to share with you guys… I dont know if you already know it or not but it goes like this…

The same boiling water that softens the potato and hardens the egg.

It’s about what you’re made of, not the circumstances

~Unknown

I really liked this one and felt like sharing it cause it sure is something we can remind ourselves in hard times.

What does this quote actually mean?

Again, it depends on the perspective.

We can see it in two ways.

First Possibility:

If the situation is bad then you can either let it break you down (like a potato), or use the pressure to turn you harder (like an egg) for future hardships.

Second Possibility:

It could mean the reverse. No matter how harsh the situations are, you can either let the bad conditions to turn you harsh and lose your real self. Or you can learn from it to become softer and more understanding towards others by helping to overcome the hardships.

Well that leaves us with two ideas.

I don’t know it’s actual meaning but this is my understanding and I’m going with both as both are great ways to think about it.

What do you think about this one?

I’d love to hear if you have other perspectives, ideas or thoughts about it!

10 Amazing Facts About the Solar System

As it’s the Space Week so here’s my first post with some real cool facts about our solar system.

I’m sure you didn’t know these (or maybe you did).

Let’s dive in:

  1. Our Solar system is 4.6 billion years old.
  2. The Solar system consists of the sun, planets, moons, dwarf planets, asteroids and the comets, out of which many are undiscovered.
  3. Over 99% of the Solar System’s mass is of the sun itself, rest is of the planets and all things around.
  4. We live inside the sun’s. atmosphere. It is far away but it’s atmosphere extends to cover all the planets in the system.
  5. Along with planets there are dwarf planets too. Only few are discovered so far namely Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake & Eris.
  6. The diameter of the dwarf planet Pluto is smaller than USA.
  7. All the planets are on the same plane and revolve in the same ecliptic direction.
  8. Our solar system is 2 light years across.
  9. Jupiter is the solar system’s “vacuum cleaner” as it attracts a large number of asteroids and comets towards itself due to its strong gravity.
  10. There could be a ninth planet in the solar system that is predicted to be ten times larger than earth.

These were ten facts about our solar system that I found really cool.

Sure tell me how you liked them and if you have any avorite facts about our solar system, I’d love to know.

The Space Week

Heyo!

As my last post says, I’ll be having a topic that’ll be talked upon the whole week for the next four weeks (i.e this month, and maybe even after that).

So this week I chose this very topic about the Space.

Umm, I thought about this cause space is my love and I see that I haven’t ever talked about it on here. I’d love to write about it, so I can share what I know and learn from you guys too.

Idk, if there are much people interested in this topic but I’mma do it anyways.

Thanks for reading!

Love!

Hey Folks!

I love you all! 💖

On my journey of Self Discovery I realised a lot of things and also got to know about the secrets of life and the universe, oh was this line too heavy?

Ah anyways, it’s kinda like enlightenment. I won’t say I’m enlightened just everything seems a lot more clear.

Now once there was this time when I was thinking on what love was. Careful, I’m not talking about relationship or falling in love I’m only talking about love ❤

It’s really irritating when I talk about love and people are like, you have a boyfriend? C’mon man, love is lot more than just that. I’m not saying relationships are bad to talk about, I’m saying thay love is like a huge ocean and relationship are a little part of it.

So coming to the topic, what love means, what I’ve learned about it is that:

Love is the most powerful energy in the whole universe!

It is a feeling of care and sympathy for things.

Love is not just for another person of the opposite gender but it is there for everything present on the earth.

It’s a universal language.

It is the emotion or feeling that is on the top of all the good emotions.

It can’t really be expressed in words, it can just be felt.

Well why to love? Why should you love or be loved?

Because it is your right. It is the right of every single organism to be loved.

Also because giving love and care to someone, makes us happy too, doesn’t it?

And also, what goes around comes around, you get in what you give out!

You give love, you get it back!

The love that mother has for her baby, the love friends have for each other, the love for serving others, love for the creator, love for your own soul, these are a few great expressions of love.

It’s the most wonderful feeling and the most beautiful language.

Get to know this when I find a wild cat or a dog, just looking at it with love, and if lucky enough then getting to feed it, taking care of it and you just see how they understand what you’re doing, that is the universal language, it’ll try it’s best to give it back.

Love can heal, it can help, it can change. You can change things with love that can’t be changed with war.

I can say that my soul is burning, not of damage but to express and give out the love to all the things on the planet.

If you are living then make this life a useful one, help others, not doing something extraordinary, by just, giving a little love, pure one, just care and support, be there… without expecting anything in return, and see their life changing gradually, see the world changing.

And yeah if you are having a hard time giving love then just look inside, and see if there is love for yourself…

If you have enough self love, only then can you actually love others. You can’t give out what you don’t have. Here’s a post on some simple steps towards self love.

Make this life full of love and see miracles happening.

With Love, ❤

Pros and Cons of Being an Extrovert

After my last post on the Pros and Cons of Being an Introvert, I thought on typing out another post related to being an extrovert.

Now nothing can be all good or all bad.

So here are some things I observed that I can categorise as the pros and cons of being an Extrovert

Pros

  1. Socially Active : This is surely the biggest advantage of being an extrovert. When extroverts are out with people they just tend to like it all, they enjoy gatherings, meeting people etc. If your job requires you to be like that then it is an advantage being extroverted.
  2. Lots of Friends: Extroverts make friends easily as they are pretty comfortable talking to people, even going up to complete strangers to have a talk. Thus they make lots of connections and are thus the “popular” ones of the party.
  3. Expressing is Easy: They are not scared of people. They just say what they feel like and don’t think much before doing so. Thus overthinking doesn’t kill them as it does for introverts.
  4. Influence : They have a bold way of expressing and thus their opinions are modtly taken as important. Group discussions, debates and meetings can be won by extroverted people easily.
  5. Dominance: Extroverted people get to be the leaders most of the times because of their expressive, fun and open minded nature and self-esteem. They do great in their work as long as it includes connecting to others. They prefer working with people rather than alone.

Cons

  1. Loneliness Kills : Extroverts get energised when around many people but they can have a hard time when alone. The loneliness kills as they constantly look for people to meet up with.
  2. Often Bored : They always need to keep doing something, engage in conversations and stuff but if they don’t get to do that they tend to get bored and frustrated.
  3. Lacked Self Awareness : Introverts are too self-conscious while as extroverts seem to be so engaged in the surroundings that they are less aware of themselves, their inner self and similar things.
  4. Do Things That You Shouldn’t: They are so excited and fun at times that the they forget about what they are not supposed to do as they don’t think much before doing or saying something, this comes with bad consequences sometimes.
  5. Shallow Relationships: Extroverts make friends with everyone but these aren’t those very deep connections. They might move long to others thus not being able too create deep relations. Also others might leave an extroverted person after after a while.

There, these were the pros and cons of being an extrovert, according to my experience.

Being extroverted is very benefitting but some downsides are still present.

Pros and Cons of Being an Introvert

The personality of every individual can be broadly classified into two types i.e., introversion and extraversion.

It is in a person mostly like from the very beginning and sometimes due to circumstances.

As for me I’ve been a little bit of both.

Yeah life has made me experience both these personalities and what I got to know was that both of them are good and bad in one way or another.

And with my perspective here’s what I found out to be the pros and cons of being an Introvert.

Pros

  1. Never Lonely : The biggest advantage of being an introvert is that you’re never lonely because you just enjoy being alone. Solitude is the best friend and it’s in loneliness when you work the best and get your greatest ideas.
  2. Deep Thinking : Introverts have a comparatively deeper thinking. As they are mostly alone they get more time with themselves and thus know themselves better. This helps if they are working on something as they get a deeper understanding of it.
  3. Considered Intelligent : Introverts are more shy creatures when in public. This makes them to be seen as the silent lonely creatures. Most people consider that kind of a nature to be associated with intelligence and without saying a word they get the great impression.
  4. Listen and Understand More : As introverts are shy they tend to speak less and listen more. This makes them a good listener. They are liked by those talking them. Good listeners are also those who understand things better and are great at learning new things.
  5. Creating the World: Introverts stay home, are shy and are not so social thus the things they are good at are best done alone. That’s creating things. Be that in arts, literature, or other such things. Introverts are great at it because they’ve got all their time to do so.

Cons:

  1. Overthinking : As already mentioned introverts are deep thinkers but this deep thinking can also lead to overthinking. Noticing and thinking about things so much that it feels like your brain will blast. That’s how I felt most of the times. This can also lead to being too self conscious and uncomfortable at times.
  2. Socially Awkward : The biggest fault of introverts is being awkward… socially… with people… always… they have a hard time when it comes to meeting people, giving calls and doing other such things. Feels like like the people will eat you, this can create low self confidence.
  3. Don’t Have Many Friends : Being socially awkward means that they try to keep away from people. Leading to not having many friends and dating is a hard task. This doesn’t mean that they don’t have friends at all, they do and they are these very special few people whom they are really close to. Just they can’t really interact with new people easily.
  4. Being Drained Around Others: Biggest drawback I noticed being an introvert was that your energy feels drained when you are around others. Even if you need it still you can’t, you need to be alone to recharge yourself.
  5. Going Unnoticed : Some times introverts go unnoticed because of their shy and silent nature. Even in places where there is real important need of being noticed. They just aren’t so loud and don’t highlight themselves and end up that way.

These were some of the most common pros and cons of being an introvert, at least that’s what I observed from my introverted point of view.

I’m not leaving out the extroverts you know, here’s a post for you guys on the of pros and cons of being and extrovert.

Happiness!

So far when I think about life, I see that there are lots of things that get our lives going… some needs, some wants, some desires but something that is the fundamental requirement to keep us actually living is Happiness.

It’s something all of us need and do everything for… even if it’s making others happy don’t we do it just to make ourselves happy in the first place?

So yeah we need it… no denial in that… But how do we get it? No one in the world is actually completely happy, isn’t it?

What I’ve learnt so far is that, nothing in the world will bring you happiness unless you create it yourself… yes you read that right…

That might be confusing and undigestible for some but that is the truth.

Look into it you will eventually come to this conclusion, that you create your own happiness.

All you have to do is to love yourself, take care of yourself, never hurt anyone or yourself, let it go and bang that’s all you need to do.

Tell me if you find that interesting.

I would love to make a deeper more detailed post on it.
